In addition to the Cadet and GEMS programs, which meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday nights of each month, students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade are encouraged to attend our monthly program called REBOOT. This year we are giving our program an “overhaul.” REBOOT: Overhaul will have many of the same components as the REBOOT of old, including great games, student-led worship, messages geared for Jr. high youth and of course great food!
NEW LOCATION: The overhaul includes a new location – we will be meeting at the Unite Center (formerly known as “diesel”) It is located just west of the corner of 11th and Grange. Although it may be a little off the beaten path, the facility is perfect for what we want to do with the Jr. high youth. We will open the doors at 5:00pm – students will be able to hang out and play games. We will kick off our programming at 5:30 and plan to be done with our activities by 7:15pm.
THEME NIGHTS: Each month, “overhaul” will revolve around a different theme. We want all the youth, all the leaders, and all the parents serving food to join us by dressing up and choosing food that goes with the theme.
In addition to REBOOT, we have other opportunities to worship and fellowship with one another at various fun-nights and Minnikota Youth League events.
Along with our Sr. high youth, we sponsor a student through Compassion International. We take an offering for Sandra at most youth functions and we appreciate your help in supporting her.
