  • Community Groups - Members of Shalom belong to small groups called Community Groups.  Visiting families interested in Shalom are also contacted and encouraged to be part of a Community Group. Community Groups are designed to increase the fellowship between members and to welcome and enfold new families.  They provide an organized means of performing service projects in the community and various projects within Shalom.
  • Coffee Break, a Bible study  for women of all ages meets on Tuesday mornings.  All women of the church are invited to join and if you feel God is challenging you to invite someone to come with you such as a friend or neighbor, you are encouraged to do so. Together let us discover God’s faithfulness and grace through this ministry. Children also will be involved with a Bible story, craft, and snack time with other children their age.
  • Adult Sunday School - A study group between the morning worship services.
  • Choir -  Meet in sanctuary at 4:45 p.m. All ages and singing expertise are welcome and encouraged to participate. The atmosphere is relaxed. Our goal is to sing and have a lot of fun.
  • Friendship class - a ministry for individuals that are physically and mentally challenged which Shalom Christian Reformed Church sponsors and staffing assistance is provided by members of First Christian Reformed Church. Friendship class meets on Monday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. from October to April.  Our classes will usually begin the 1st Monday in October.
  • Club 55 – Meets the 4th Thursday of each month with a different program each month. Designed for adults age 55 and over
  • Small Group Ministry:
      • Care Partners:  Caring for and encouraging others
      • Scrapbooking:  A once a month scrapbooking group
      • Young Couples:  Couples meeting socially, once a month
      • Coffee Break:  A Bible Study for all women on Tuesday mornings 9:30-11:00 Sept.-April
      • Early Risers:  A men's Bible study meeting early morning
      • Bookclub:  A small group for all ages, meeting once a month
      • The Right Mix:  Monthly meetings of Bible Study, social and service projects
      • Got M.I.L.K.? (More Income, Less Kids) 
      • Taking a Risk:  A men's social group meeting 5 times a year
